That lesson is then
taught by the volunteers to students in classrooms k-5.
In January, the focus was on Winter Ways. Students learned about the
winter strategies of active animals. Volunteers performed a puppet show
and took classes out of doors to look for signs of active animals, tracks
and things they've eaten, such as nibbled twigs, stripped bark, or seed
Ask your child about the winter bouquet they made and arranged in a
dough vase and the sign language they used to communicate wordlessly
while observing and listening to winter sounds.
Thank you so much to our Four Winds volunteers!
